| Curriculum
framework
Leeming Senior High School students are expected
to succeed academically, in an environment conducive to learning.
Student outcomes are central to student learning and the Leeming
Senior High School curriculum is being built around the Curriculum
Framework that has been developed for all Western Australian
students. Teaching is guided by the way students learn and teaching
styles will vary to cater for individual differences and for the
achievement levels of the students. Learning Technologies are
provided
as tools for students to assist them with learning in a modern
environment where they have ready access to computers and the internet.
The DET Regulatory Framework can be accessed at
http://www.eddept.wa.edu.au/RegFrame/
Courses
Publications are available from the school which provide information
about the school curriculum and details of the courses that are
available for study.
Homework
Homework is any school-related work done at home. It may consist
of projects and assignments, learning, completing work started
in
class, revision for tests, reviewing work, reading and general
organisation of files. Evidence suggests that students who
complete homework
regularly perform better in the classroom.
