Absences
If a student is going to be absent from school, please contact the school office by telephoning 9310 1300 before 9.00 a.m. The student should bring a note or doctor's certificate to the tutor group teacher on return to school.

Appointments for Student Services
Many students make appointments to see members of the Student Services Team. The procedure is simple. The student needs to go to the student services building, make an appointment time and show the appointment slip to the relevant subject teacher. As a matter of courtesy appointments should be negotiated with the subject teacher to make sure that essential teaching or tests do not clash with the appointment.

Canteen
The canteen is open for all students at recess and lunch times. Lunch orders are taken before school starts.

Illness During the Day
Students who are ill during the day should go to see the nurse who will help them. If the student needs to go home the nurse will contact the student’s parent.

Lateness
Students who are late for school but arrive before 9.00 a.m. must sign in at the Student Services Centre. Students arriving at school after 9.00 a.m., must report to the Administration Office.

Leaving School Grounds
To go to the dentist, doctor or to another valid appointment the student needs to bring a letter from a parent and show it to a deputy before school. The deputy will write a permission slip, which must be kept and shown to the front office staff before leaving the school grounds. This process of 'signing out' enables everyone to be aware that the student is leaving the school grounds for a valid reason.

To go home for lunch,
a student must obtain a lunch pass from the appropriate deputy.

Parking
Students who ride bicycles must park and lock them into one of the bicycle racks around the school. Students need to supply their own padlocks. Students who drive cars to school must park them in the Leeming Recreation Centre car park in the area designated. These cars must not be driven during the school day.

Uniform
Students not in uniform are required to obtain a pass before the school day begins. Passes are available between 8.10 a.m. and 8.25 a.m. at the Student Services Centre.
