At Leeming Senior High School we have been welcoming families for over 30 years. We like to see ourselves as partners with parents and students to provide a supporting and caring environment during the High School years. Supporting the Students’ academic endeavors goes hand-in-hand with supporting their emotional well-being.
Leeming Senior High School (LSHS) has a school community small enough to be able to care about each individual student but large enough to cater for a very broad range of academic and non-academic needs. Nestled between an abundance of bushland, we enjoy a peaceful environment in which to learn and grow. It is paramount to us that everyone enjoys their association with our school and that they receive the support necessary to achieve their best in all they do.
We aim to enrich our students’ lives by a comprehensive program that focuses on their emotional well-being and their academic performance.
The Science and Technology Academy and the Japanese Specialist Program are the two W.A. Department of Education Approved Academic and Applied Specialist Programs offered at Leeming Senior High School. We also offer a School-Based Academic Extension Program for our students with greater academic potential.
Leeming Senior High School is also an Instrumental Music School Services (IMSS) School. Instrumental Music School Services provides instrumental lessons to selected students. The course is similar to a scholarship which demands an ongoing commitment from students and parents. The Music Department at Leeming Senior High School is very well-regarded among peers.
